OPERATIONS INTERN
Yayasan Indonesia Cerah (CERAH) is a non-profit organization in Indonesia that promotes the country’s energy transition policy agenda. CERAH comprises experts in the energy sector, communication, and campaigning. To achieve its goals, it collaborates with diverse stakeholders, including the community, research institutions, the government, and private sector partners.
Yayasan Indonesia Cerah seeks an intern to support the operations function of the organization, led by the Senior Operations Manager.
The Operations Intern provides support to various tasks undertaken by the Operations Team of Indonesia Cerah. These include several office administrative, logistics, filling, and finance tasks, including, the monthly filing of expenses and accounting by ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures. She/he will work closely with the Finance and Accounting Coordinator and Operations Officer.
Objectives
- To provide the intern with real-world experience in administrative and financial processes.
- To assist the Administration and Finance team with daily tasks and special projects.
- To develop the intern’s skills in financial management, office administration, and organizational support.

Scope of Work
As an Operations Intern, the tasks and responsibilities will include:
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and maintaining digital files, ensuring that all documents are properly field and accessible;
- Assist in the preparation, editing, and formatting of reports, presentations, and other documents;
- Assist in the procurement process and administrative arrangement for any purchasing related to general/operational purposes;
- We are participating in team meetings and contributing to discussions.
- Undertake other tasks and activities as requested.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining records of invoices, receipts, and payments, and ensuring they are properly categorized fielded, and stored chronologically;
- Ensure digital finance vouchers and supporting documents are filled properly (based on date, month, and project) as well as ensure the documents are stored in G-drive chronologically;
- I am supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Expected Outputs/Deliverables
The intern is expected to support the smooth running of the organization’s finance, administrative.
Duration of the Internship
3 months, will start on September 2024
Qualification and Skills
- University student in last semester in an Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to plan and organize work;
- Resourcefulness, initiative, enthusiasm, and detail-oriented;
- Proficiency in Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting software/systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The intern agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all financial and administrative information encountered during the internship. Any breach of confidentiality may result in the termination of the internship.
