Yayasan Cipta formerly known as YCCP is a non profit organization established in 2008 with expertise and long experience in advocacy, social behaviour change communication, community mobilization, social marketing and social research. The expertise and broad experience of Yayasan Cipta covering the area of health, environment including water, sanitation, hygiene, environmental conservations, Family Planning, Reproductive Health, infectious diseases, Mother and Child health, Nutrition. Yayasan Cipta’s vision is improving health literacy of Indonesian societies and become health advocates to improve quality of life.
At the moment Yayasan Cipta is seeking qualified candidates for,
- Position Title: Executive Director
- Position Base: Jakarta – Indonesia.
- (This position is designated for Indonesian citizen only)
General Purpose:
Supervised by the Executive Board, and reporting directly to the Chairman of the Executive Board, leading every functions in the organization, the Executive Director (ED) of Yayasan Cipta will provide leadership, direction and coordinate all operational activities in the organization in line with the Vision and Mission of the organization, and achieving the five years pre-approved strategic plan (Renstra) of Yayasan Cipta.
This position is a full time position and based in Jakarta Indonesia, therefore required a full time presence and are not designated to work remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful Executive Director shall maintain the sustainability of the organization portion of the Scope of Work as a highlight.
- The Executive Director shall perform the outlined scope of work stated below, but not limited to :
- Taking a proactive role in the formulation of future strategic objectives and bringing them to the Board for input, discussion and decision as to ratification.
- Ensuring that strong strategic and annual planning processes are in place to produce effective plans for approval by the Board. Including development of Organizational Structure in relation to the strategic plan.
- Proactively lead for the sustainability of the organization through the development of new business.
- Fully in-charge in leading the development of draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions, development and drafting of project concept papers, etc. in line with the effort of the sustainability of the organization.
- Monitor and provides leadership to the team management, leading proactively the activities of the sustainability of Yayasan Cipta, while encouraging effective team-work and organization culture.
- Ensuring that all financial and non financial reporting requirements are met on a timely and regular basis.
- Ensuring that reporting to the Board is always totally ‘transparent’ and on a ‘no surprises basis’.
- Developing and maintaining effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders including the Boards of Foundation, donors, partners, Government Officials, and CSOs.
- Developing a wide range of relationships and networks with the local, national and possible international organization to position Yayasan Cipta as a well known and credible organization.
- In charge of development and maintenance of Organization Credentials, and other marketing tools for the Yayasan Cipta in both printed and online.
- Ensuring the development of effective and innovative lobbying strategies in order to promote the interests on Yayasan Cipta.
- Ensure the development and maintenance of equitable personnel policies which are consistent with organization policies and industry and markets. Recognising that “ability to pay” will always influence the level of remuneration.
- Protect the interest and welfare of employees
- Direct and determine promotions, demotions, dismissals and other actions needed.
- Control the use of consultants and services to be effective and as efficient as possible.
- Hold regular coordination meetings, evaluations meetings, and collect input from the team.
- Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the organization are effectively and efficiently coordinated and implemented and conducted within the framework agreed to by the Board.
- Implement stringent project management processes to ensure the timely and cost effective development of the key programs undertaken.
- Develop remedial actions on identified issues and conduct crisis management as necessary.
- Compliance with Donors, legislation and regulatory bodies is monitored.
- Timely accurate reporting to the Board of Foundation.
- Preparation of budget for approval by the Board of Foundation each year.
- Reporting against budget yearly to the Governing Board, explaining any variations and defining actions to be taken if budgets not met.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Hold at least Master Degree in Communication/Public Health/Health Communication or other relevant fields from reputable University.
- Excellent and effective written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a must.
- Demonstrates leadership, management skills, business accument and maturity to effectively lead complex development programs and staff; managing effective and efficient resources in achieving programs/projects and organizational goals in both multi cultural setting and local.
- Has an excellent and broad networking and experience in promoting organization with national and international donors, the Government bodies, and other NGOs.
- Preverably has a minimum of 8 (eight) years of experience with 2 (two) years of experience in similar leadership position/function working in the field of communication within International NGO and/or Local NGO environment.
- Experience in designing, managing, implementing and monitoring reputable and complex programs funded by international donor agencies is highly preferable.
