Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent (CA and/or CPA certified).
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in a related field for this position.
  • Experience in managing company financial and accounting systems with extensive operations and networks.
  • Experience in the same position in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Indonesian Accounting standards and their implementation.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and strong skills in data processing and reporting.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Indonesian and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. People-oriented, leader, mentor, coach.
  • Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to travel to Sukadana, West Kalimantan, for on-site meetings and periodic due diligence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Professional and accountable financial governance management and effective grant management.
  • Overseeing and approving expenditures as requested bi-monthly by budget holders.
  • Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial budgets, both actual and forecasted.
  • Directing and managing program budgets according to the approved annual budget and continuously monitoring expenditures, ensuring timely budget completion and monthly grant realization.
  • Providing leadership and support for all areas of financial management, including taxation, accounting, payment of expenditures, and grant tracking, systems, and reporting procedures.
  • Coordinating and guiding staff to ensure project budgeting, accounting, and fiscal control procedures are effectively implemented, keeping up with the latest trends in financial accounting.
  • Building the capacity of financial staff in terms of financial policies and procedures, GAAP practices, etc.
  • Managing tight processes and controls around cash flow and cash usage.
  • Conducting proper and continuous analysis of financial resources and cash flow to ensure fund availability for core programs.
  • Leading and managing the due diligence process as required by funders.
  • Maintaining strong financial management and reporting systems for internal and external reporting (including Foundation Parties, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders).
  • Ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial management information systems, data, and reports.
  • Formulating high-quality policies, optimal financial policy implementation, and value-added quality control.
  • Managing and ensuring that all reporting obligations and regulatory compliance are met and adhering to reporting deadlines.
  • Managing the external audit process – overseeing independent audits (3 times or more/year).
  • Maintaining and regularly evaluating appropriate insurance protections.
  • Ensuring record-keeping meets auditor and government agency requirements.
  • Timely reporting of risk issues to the Board of Directors.
