The Role:
The Clinical Advisor supports the development and delivery of clinical training programs and tools, along with responding to inquiries about practical aspects of clinical management of TB patients. The Clinical Advisor will improve/update clinical learning content, integrating applicable clinical cases and practical knowledge of patient management. Training delivery and mentoring for beneficiary countries is part of the role, and may happen in or out of the country, whether face-to-face or remotely.
The advisor also participates in sharing best practices and expertise during the Global Technical Expert Council (G-TEC) meetings, such as presenting patient cases, revision of clinical experience, or topics suggested by other members of G-TEC or beneficiary countries.
The Requirements:
- A Doctor of Medicine degree (MD)
- At least 7 years of practicing experience in infectious diseases, including all forms of TB
- Updated and knowledgeable on the treatment and management of all forms of TB
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Strong experience in TB/MDR-TB management, especially with newer drugs
Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates from India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
