Corus International Job Vacancy: Project Coordinator, Kabanjahe – North Sumatera

CORUS INTERNATIONAL JOB VACANCIES 2024

Corus International seeks to recruit two Project Coordinators to implement the Multisectoral Collaboration for Inclusive Health and Opportunities for Women’s Accelerator (MECIHO-A) and SHARE (She Recycles, She Earns: Building A Brighter Future for Women) in Kabanjahe, Karo regency, North Sumatera in Indonesia. Both MECIHO-A and SHARE project are complemented to each other, where the overall goal is to directly empower women and improve the health, hygiene, and living conditions of households and communities in Karo. The project will be benefitting over 14,000 women and man to improve their capacity health, hygiene, and income diversification. The project will be started on the first October 2024 for 40 months. The positions will be based in Kabanjahe, Karo, North Sumatera.

Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, the Project Coordinators will be responsible for field-based aspects of the MECIHO-A and SHARE projects with the following key responsibilities:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Project Implementation (90%)

  • Under the supervision and direction of Senior Project Officer, work with community to organize MECIHO project activities
  • Communicate to community and village government on project activities and updates as guided
  • Meet with community groups on a regular basis
  • Data Entry and update of project beneficiary’s database
  • Support with documentation of project activities, including but not limited to photos and success stories
  • Monitor trainer/facilitator assignments based on check list provided to the Senior Project Officer.
  • Work closely with Senior Project Officer to test the Business Plan/ Financial Literacy curriculum

Representation (10%)

  • Receive and ensure all community complaints/feedback are recorded and responded to accordingly
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders that can enrich MECIHO programs.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Social Science, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
  • S/he should have strong organizational and administrative skills
  • S/he should have a strong communication skill, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
  • S/he should be proficient in using IT tools and software for project management and data entry
  • Knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage
