- Job Title: Business Development Lead
- Reports to: Chief Development Officer
- Job Level: Supervisor
Scope of Work:
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for Partnership strengthening, monitor and maintain positive collaboration between 1000 Days Fund and partners, including conducting regular strategic discussion with partners. Also conduct research and devise strategies to approach donation/funding opportunities and develop and execute in-house fundraising campaigns utilizing social media channels and community partnership opportunities.
Partnership Strengthening
- Monitor and maintain positive collaboration between 1000 Days Fund and Government, Private Sectors, Donors, Coalition Members, and other strategic counterparts.
- Work closely with the program and community engagement team to find collaboration opportunities that will mutually benefit 1000 Days Fund and partners.
- In charge of conducting regular strategic discussion with partners to discuss community best practices and disseminate the findings to the program and research team.
- Develop regular partner’s engagement material (program fact sheets, one pager appeal, or newsletter)
Fundraising Campaign Activation
- Research and devise strategies to approach in-kind and in-cash donation/funding opportunities.
- Develop and execute in-house fundraising campaigns utilizing social media channels and community partnership opportunities.
- Plan and assist in fundraising events.
- Manage a portfolio of existing donors and creatively plan a stewardship strategy.
- Assist with proposals, budget, and timely reports production
Lessons-learnt documentation and reporting
- Support lesson-learnt and documentation of 1000 Days Fund’s activities on partnership and fundraising.
- Work closely with the program and research team to analyze the partnership progress.
- Support to leverage and disseminate those learnings and documentations for the sustainability of 1000 Days Fund’s program
- Contribute to the development of general partnership and fundraising learning, documentation, and reporting.
Qualification:
Education and Hard Skill
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communication is preferred.
- Minimal 4 years’ experience related to account executive/ partnership / business development/ Fundraiser.
- Experience in an NGO is an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Words and PowerPoint) with basic design preferred.
- Proficient in English both verbal and written.
- Have a desire to make positive contributions in the growth and development of society and the ability to understand others.
- Able to work efficiently under minimum supervision
Soft Skills and Managerial Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, interpersonal skills, excellent presentation skills, Persuasion and negotiation skills with good time management is required..
- Able to manage budgets and analyze fundraising targets align with organization needs.
- Outgoing personality, well organized, highly passionate in CSW, positive networking aptitude, team player, passionate and results driven.
- Good organization, Strong project and financial management experience and planning skills
- Good people skills, Self-motivated, flexible and proactive and experience working cross-culturally
- Self-motivated person able to work with little supervision
- Demonstrate commitment to team work with a high degree of integrity, dependability and confidentiality.
- An understanding of and affinity with 1000 Days Fund vision, mission and values.
Others
- Excellent written and spoken command of English and Indonesian
- Preferred candidate must be an Indonesian citizen or have permanent residency.
