TECHNICAL FACILITATOR (CONSTRUCTION)

Program: Construction of 8 Units Safe Earthquake-Resistant Livable House
Partner: BAZNAS Kabupaten Lombok Barat
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII), in partnership with BAZNAS Kabupaten Lombok Barat, is seeking an experienced and qualified Technical Facilitator (Construction) to provide technical support and supervision for the construction of 8 adequate and earthquake-safe houses for selected beneficiary families in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
The Technical Facilitator will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are implemented in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, BoQ/RAB, safety requirements, and applicable construction principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct technical site assessments and review land/site readiness.
- Review construction drawings, designs, RAB/BoQ, material specifications, and work plans.
- Conduct regular field visits and supervise construction progress.
- Ensure construction works and materials comply with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor key construction stages, particularly foundations, structural works, and roof structures.
- Conduct physical progress measurements and quality control.
- Identify technical issues, construction risks, delays, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Document construction progress through technical reports and photographs.
- Review proposed changes to construction works and ensure proper approval before implementation.
- Conduct final inspection of each housing unit and monitor the completion of punch-list items.
- Provide technical recommendations for handover and submit the final technical report.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering or a relevant building/engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction.
- Proven experience in supervising residential or simple building construction projects.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, RAB/BoQ, quantities, and material specifications.
- Knowledge of earthquake-safe construction principles, preferably with experience in construction projects in NTB.
- Able to conduct measurements, quality control, field monitoring, and technical reporting.
- Willing and able to conduct regular visits to all construction locations in West Lombok.
- Independent and able to maintain professional integrity, including avoiding conflicts of interest with suppliers, workers, contractors, or beneficiaries.
- Willing to comply with YRII’s Safeguarding, PSEAH, Anti-Fraud, Code of Conduct, and Do No Harm policies.
