Role Purpose
The Program Director ensures the effective implementation of ASRI’s programs (Healthcare, Conservation, Livelihood & Business Development, Planetary Health Education, and Program Development & Scaling) in line with donor agreements, organizational policies, and national regulations, while delivering sustainable impacts for people and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual program work plans and budgets.
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate multi-site program implementation.
- Prepare program proposals and support fundraising initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with laws, internal SOPs, and donor standards.
- Manage large, multidisciplinary teams and oversee staff performance.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with government, donors, partners, local communities, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Public Health and/or Forestry (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial/director role in health and/or conservation programs.
- Proven experience in forest conservation and community health/clinic management.
- Skilled in managing large teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (oral & written).
- High-level leadership, analytical thinking, strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in the field.
- Non-smoker.
