Yayasan Alam Sehat Lestari Job Vacancy: Health Manager, Ogan Komering Ilir – Kalimantan Barat

• Develop a compelling vision for ASRI’s health programs including ASRI Clinic in Sukadana and ASRI mobile clinic programs in Kalimantan, focusing on expanding access to quality conservation-based healthcare.
• Develop, periodically update and implement a comprehensive long-term and short-term healthcare strategic plan that aligns with ASRI’s overall mission, values and goals.
• Drive innovation in healthcare delivery, exploring new technologies and approaches to improve both patient health and nature conservation outcomes.
• Develop and implement annual work plans that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.
• Develop robust protocols for medical evacuations, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Oversee continuous professional development programs for the health staffs.
• Ensure timely and effective delivery of healthcare services, including direct patient care when necessary.
• Support budgets creation, spending and absorption effectively — optimizing resource allocation for clinical services and public health programs.
• Lead the organization’s efforts to maintain accreditation standards.
• Ensure adherence to local and national regulations, developing clear timelines for compliance.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, leveraging technology to improve data collection and analysis.
• Support research initiatives to advance knowledge and inform program development.

Qualification

• Professional doctor or dentist with Indonesian nationality.
• Willingness to live and work in Sukadana, and to travel within ASRI’s working areas
• Minimum of 3 years experiences in healthcare service management, preferred in a development organization or setting
• Having proper knowledge and ability to synthesize program performance, analytical thinking, managing the project, and strategic decision making
• Having experience working with wide range stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government officials, and NGO partners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
• Strong people management skills: an eye for talent; developing and motivating others; managing change; conflict resolution; initiative and flexible
• Proven technical knowledge and skills in areas as described in the Main Responsibilities / Duties of this position
• Good in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Fluency in local languages is desirable
• Non-Smoker
