PPLH Seloliman, a pioneering center for environmental education and ecotourism, is seeking a director to lead and manage the integrated operations of PPLH Seloliman. This role is perfect for an inspiring leader who thrives at the intersection of environmental education and conservation, community empowerment, organic farming and ecotourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, programmes and partnerships required to achieve our mission.
- Manage finances, fundraising, grants, and organizational sustainability.
- Oversee staff and volunteers while fostering a supportive work culture.
- Strengthen and promote initiatives in education, ecotourism, and organic farming.
- Promote the organization through marketing, outreach, and partnerships.
- Ensure excellent visitor experiences, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Build strong relationships with communities, stakeholders, and partners.
- Monitor and evaluate impact, advocate for conservation, and represent the organization at local and regional levels.
- Ensures high-quality services trusted by guests, partners, and donors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant fields of YPLHS programs (environment, education, NGO management).
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in NGOs, education, or community development.
- Proven leadership, fundraising, marketing and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (including proficiency in English).
- Deep commitment to ecological values, sustainability, and community empowerment.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to challenges, and lead with integrity.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Knowledge of Seloliman’s local context or similar contexts.
- Experience in cross-sector collaboration (government, NGOs, private sector).
- Strong digital communication, public speaking skills and stakeholder engagement.
