Currently, Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is looking for:
Data Analyst (3 Posts)
Duty Station: Kota Makassar, Kab. Gowa, Kab. Pangkajene Kepulauan
The Data Analyst(s) are responsible for ensuring that the data recorded in the Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) aligns with the actual conditions at healthcare facilities and complies with established standards, enabling a more systematic process of analysis and reporting. This supports continuous improvements in the implementation of active MESO at supported healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Data Officer or TB officers at healthcare facilities to ensure daily ESO monitoring data for all patients is reported completely and promptly in the RO TB.01 book and SITB system. Daily ESO reporting must be completed within a maximum of 15 days after the incident is identified by health personnel.
- Coordinate with the Data Officer or TB officers at healthcare facilities to ensure all serious ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) data is reported completely and promptly in the SITB system. Serious ADR reporting must be done immediately within 24 hours after it is identified. Any new data or information must be promptly recorded, reported back into the SITB system, and finalized.
- Coordinate with the Data Officer, M&E Officer, and YKI Technical Officer in collecting, validating, and analyzing data on ADR/ESO, serious ADR, treatment outcomes, and project implementation achievements in the operational areas based on established indicators.
- Collaborate with the Data Officer to prepare data analysis reports and monthly updates related to the implementation of the ASCENT DR-TB project based on established project indicators.
- Maintain a daily work logbook recording all activities performed during visits to healthcare facilities.
- Ensure the completeness and confidentiality of the data sources used.
- Provide support in project implementation activities to deliver quality technical assistance to supported healthcare facilities.
- Identify potential problems and provide recommendations to the ASCENT DR-TB project team on necessary corrective actions, follow up on those actions, and prepare a brief report on findings and recommendations.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and institutions.
- Facilitate discussions related to ASCENT DR-TB project activities with stakeholders at the district/city level by coordinating/consulting with the project coordinator.
- Perform other duties assigned by YKI.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the health field (medicine, nursing, public health) or other related health fields.
- Experience in using health information systems (such as SITB) will be an advantage.
Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years working experience in public health/medical science or management preferably in health/TB control program.
- Having experience in health data collection and management, preferably in health/TB control program.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication and facilitation skills.
