Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003 and officially became Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sectors for the program include:
- Water and Sanitation
- Sustainable livelihood
- Education
- Child Welfare
- Shelter
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Jakarta Province will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Senior Marketing and Communication Officer based in Jakarta.
Key Duties
- Increase public awareness about the program vision, mission, and program of Islamic Relief in Indonesia.
- Encourage active community participation in donation activities and Humanity.
- Build strong relationships with the media and relevant stakeholders.
- Enhancing the image and reputation of Islamic Relief as a leading humanitarian organization.
- Create daily content program and to publish
Job Responsibilities
- Execute digital and offline campaign plans according to the strategic brief; oversee daily implementation.
- Create and optimize content (creative briefings, copywriting, video/photo production supervision) with the creative team.
- Create a daily content program as a content creator
- Manage communication channels (social media, newsletters, campaign microsites) and ensure consistent messaging.
- Monitor daily/weekly campaign KPIs, and implement optimizations
- Create campaign performance reports and provide actionable insights for management.
- Manage operational relationships with vendors, media buyers, and campaign implementation partners
- Handle mid-level public communications (simple press releases, educational materials).
- Mentor junior staff (Officers/Executives) and assist in preparing presentation materials for management
- To hold events with offline fundraising, such as disaster response simulations for companies, schools, Masjid, community, Mall, business association, booth campaign Ramadhan, and Qurbani, etc.
- To hold an offline sharia event targeting priority banking customers to solicit the public database
- To participate in external large/big events by opening organizations such as Hijab Fest, Muslim Fair, Jakarta Fair, UMKM fair, etc.
- To utilize the database for brand awareness and issue thematic alert through WA blast/Email Blast or call (FAQ) with a standardized template with CRM staff
- To strengthen the IR social media platform with a digital marketing formulation to target for wider public campaign

Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or similar).
- 3–5 years of work experience in marketing/communications; experience in a non-profit organization is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media management, paid ads, email marketing, and basic analytics.
- Skills in writing, storytelling, and content production coordination.
- Analytical skills to generate data-driven insights.
- A proven record of successful fundraising
- Experience of undertaking a range of tasks requiring a high degree of discretion, sensitivity and negotiating skills.
- Experience of working independently and on own initiative
- Strong interest in development work with respect for confidentiality and commitment to Islamic Relief overall aims and objectives, including gender, equality and equal opportunities in all aspects of Islamic Relief’s work.
