Marketing Communication Officer
Position Summary:
Responsible for designing and implementing effective marketing strategis tonincrease visibility, support and public participation in Gugah Nurani Indonesia’s humanitarian programs. Collborate with the communications and fundraising teams to achieve the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development, Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support the mission and programs of Gugah Nurani Indonesia and Identify target audiences and develop marketing campaigns tailored to their needs.
- Campaign Management, Manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising, Measure and analyze campaign performance to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, Manage the marketing budget to ensure optimal use of funds.
- Content Development, Create engaging and informative marketing content, including articles, videos, infographics, and promotional materials. Work with the fundraising team to ensure consistent and strong messaging across all channels.
- Social Media Management, Develop effective social media strategies to enhance online presence and engagement with the audience, Manage the organization’s social media accounts (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) by regularly posting content, responding to user interactions, and monitoring social media metrics, Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to ensure high-quality and brand-consistent social media posts, Conduct routine analysis of social media performance and report findings along with recommendations for improvements.
- Public Relations and Media Relations, Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other strategic partners, Prepare press releases and coordinate with media outlets to enhance the organization’s exposure.
- Market Research and Analysis, Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities and analyze market data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Team Collaboration, Work closely with other internal teams, such as program, fundraising, and communications teams, to ensure cohesion and synergy in marketing efforts. Provide training and support to other staff members regarding marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field,
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably with experience in the non-profit or humanitarian sector.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and using analytics tools,
- Experience in social media management and using social media management tools.
- Creative, innovative, and able to work independently and in a team.
