Job Title: Sr. Manager, Business Development – Resilience & Sustainability – ChildFund (Asia Region) ??

ChildFund International Job Vacancy: Sr. Manager, Business Development – Resilience & Sustainability, Jakarta – Indonesia is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader as our Sr. Manager, Business Development – Resilience & Sustainability. This is a unique opportunity to join our Asia Regional Office, reporting to the Asia Regional Director (Hanneke Oudkerk), and drive our sustainability and resilience agenda across Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation of a regional business development strategy that integrates resilience and sustainability.
  • Generate actionable intelligence by monitoring donor trends and identifying high-potential opportunities.
  • Lead strategic pre-positioning efforts to enhance the organization’s visibility and competitiveness.
  • Represent ChildFund in international meetings, regional forums, and networking events.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for large, high-value regional and multi-country proposals.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder processes (technical, M&E, finance, etc.) to align proposals with donor requirements.

Qualifications (Experience):

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in business development, resource mobilization, or fundraising in the development/humanitarian sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of resilience and sustainability programming in the Asia context (including ESG, carbon markets).
  • Proven track record of securing funding from diverse donors (e.g., Global Environment Fund, Global Green Growth Institute, Green Climate Fund).
  • Experience in consortium building and managing complex proposal processes.
  • Experience working in or supporting multiple countries in the Asia region (Regional Experience).
  • Excellent proposal writing, project design, and donor engagement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications (Education):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience.
  • Location: Flexible (Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand or the Philippines) ??
  • Eligibility: Must have current work authorization in one of the specified locations and be in proximity to a ChildFund country office. ??
