Together with YKAN, the Project Management Specialist (Koralestari) provides operational and project management support to ensure the effective delivery of the Koralestari Program. The role coordinates implementation tracking, reporting, financial monitoring, procurement and contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and compliance processes while supporting cross-functional teams, consultants, and partners to achieve program goals efficiently, accountably, and in alignment with organizational policies and donor requirements

Are you passionate about being a part of group of dedicated employees who are united by our mission to preserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. The Project Management Specialist (Koralestari) supports the effective delivery of Koralestari activities by coordinating project implementation, progress tracking, reporting, financial and budget monitoring, procurement and contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and compliance processes. The role maintains project management systems and documentation, supports donor and program reporting, facilitates coordination across teams and partners, and helps ensure operational efficiency, accountability, risk management, and adherence to organizational and donor requirements. Based in Jakarta, the position reports to the Impact Investment Manager and collaborates closely with internal teams, consultants, implementing partners, and key stakeholders.

The Project Management Specialist (Koralestari) reports to the Impact Investment Manager and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia

What You’ll Bring:

·Act independently within broad program goals to prioritize tasks in the absence of specific instructions and exercise independent judgment to identify and solve problems.
·Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.
·May be responsible for the work of peers on departmental project teams.
·Ensure compliance with YKAN policies and procedures, and external (donor/legal/YKAN global partner) requirements; Decisions may bind the organization financially or legally.
·Financial responsibility includes purchasing, processing invoices and transfers, and negotiating and contracting with vendors, and participating in budget preparation.
·Manage projects with several variables – set realistic deadlines, manage a timeline, and ensure accountability.
·May participate in complex negotiations.
·Provide input through project teams for the development and implementation of new initiatives or the improvement of existing programs.
·Travel and work flexible hours, as needed.
·Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
·Work is diversified and may not always fall under established practices and guidelines.
·Work within scope of program’s strategic goals.
·May work under variable weather conditions, at remote locations, on difficult terrain, and under physically demanding circumstances as required by program activities.
·YKAN may, from time to time, assign the Employee to another location(s) in accordance with operational requirements and program needs. The Employee agrees to work in such other work location(s) in Indonesia.
