WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking the best candidate for the position of Community Development Officer. This position will be based in Kei, Maluku, and report directly to Inner Banda Arc Seascape Project Executant.

The Marine Biodiversity Officer acts as Focal Point for WWF-Indonesia in facilitating the implementation of projects/programs in the Inner Banda Arc Seascape and managing relationships with target communities related to the objectives of the project/program, to ensure the management of knowledge, awareness, and local community support for the project/program WWF-Indonesia, especially in supporting the development of marine conservation areas and conservation of protected species throughout the Inner Banda Arc Seascape working area, as well as in other WWF-Indonesia working areas.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree (S-1), from social science, biology, forestry, conservation management, environmental science, marine and fisheries or other relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field
