Restorasi Habitat Orangutan Indonesia Job Vacancy: Ecosystem Restoration Staff Asisstant, Muara Wahau – East Kalimantan

• Support the implementation of ecosystem restoration activities.
• Assist in seedling management activities, such as seed procurement, maintenance, and planting;
• Monitor the abiotic components of the area;
• Carry out security activities for the area from disturbances and fires through regular patrols;
• Support restoration activities using sustainability principles and environmentally friendly technologies;
• Conduct maintenance and monitoring of permanent sample plots (PUP);
• Help coordinate and ensure all activities run according to the operational plan and set objectives;
• Prepare reports and evaluations on the execution of activities.

Job Requirements

• Male/female
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Forestry, or a related field
• Maximum age: 28 years
• Physically and mentally fit
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willing to be stationed at a camp in East Kalimantan
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mapping software is a plus
• Good command of English (both written and spoken) is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
