We’re hiring! Rekam Nusantara Foundation through Fisheries Resource Center of Indonesia (FRCI) is opening two exciting opportunities to strengthen our work on coastal resilience under the project Nature-based Solutions for Advancing Coastal Resilience in Central Java, Indonesia.
This project, supported by the Climate and Ocean Adaptation and Sustainable Transition (COAST) Facility under the UK Government’s Blue Planet Fund, aims to build resilience in 17 coastal villages through mangrove restoration, sustainable silvofishery systems, and eco-enterprise development.
Open positions:
- Environmental and Social Safeguard (ESS) Specialist
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and social safeguard frameworks, conducting risk assessments, integrating GEDSI, facilitating grievance mechanisms, and building local capacity on safeguard practices.
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist
- Responsible for designing and implementing the MEL framework, coordinating data collection and analysis, reporting to donors, and facilitating learning to strengthen adaptive project management.

Location: Bogor, West Java, with frequent travel to Central Java
Duration: Full-time, 12 months with possibility of extension
