Kaoem Telapak is looking for the right person to fill the position of Project Manager. The position plays an essential role in planning, executing, and completing projects efficiently. This dynamic role requires strong communication, financial and organizational skills.

Job Description:

  • Lead the campaign team in preparing project plans, including scope, objectives, activities, schedule and budget
  • Ensure project implementation is on schedule, achieve targets and implement a quality assurance process
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Manage the project budget with the financial manager
  • Prepare narrative reports and progress reports for donors
  • Communicate project status to team members and stakeholders
  • Comply with donor monitoring and evaluation
  • Communicate with donors and provide support to campaign staff
  • Foster strong relationships with partners and ensure effective collaboration
  • Contribute to Kaoem Telapak’s strategic planning process
  • Assists in fundraising and identifying grant opportunities

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Have experience as a Project Manager or similar role for at least 5 years
  • Experience in non-profit, forestry, climate change or governance issues and sectors governance is preferred
  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written
  • Experience working with government funding from international donors (example: FCDO, NORAD, USAID)
  • Experience in preparing fundraising proposals and reporting
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 and other standard applications
  • Have strong communication, financial and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Understand project management principles and project cycles
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to adapt to change and work in a challenging environment
