ERIA is seeking a Deputy Head of the Asia Zero Emission Center (AZE-Center) Center to drive high-impact research, policy development, and regional collaboration at the forefront of the energy transition.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the Center’s strategic direction, advancing policy recommendations on energy security, economic growth, and decarbonisation, and working closely with governments, industry, academia, and international partners.

The role also involves leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing key projects, and ensuring the delivery of impactful, policy-relevant outputs that support the region’s transition towards zero emissions.

We are looking for candidates with strong expertise in energy policy, proven leadership experience, and a solid track record in research and strategy development within ASEAN and East Asia.
