Your Role

This role will be part of a passionate team working to resolve critical social and environmental issues globally, transforming supply chains of agricultural commodities. The scope of support that the Sustainability Analyst – Agricultural Commodities has is across all relevant supply chain solutions Earthworm Foundation is providing to each company. For example, supporting companies in their scope with grievance follow up, No Deforestation work, and a range of supply chain survey and transformation solutions implements.

As the Sustainability Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Develop strategies to guide companies working on agricultural supply chains to implement actions that measurably impact people and nature and in turn support the company to achieve their commitments and goals (for example No Deforestation targets);
  • Analyse data available to feed those strategies and to identify pathways to attain the goals;
  • Ensure the implementation of those strategies within the regional scope, for example by coordinating meetings and activities with supply chain partners, in order to attain the goals;
  • Lead key external stakeholders’ relationships, in particular procurement teams and suppliers within Earthworm Foundation members’ supply chains (including the preparation and presentation of reports as needed, project site visits when required) to ensure progress is made;
  • Act as regional referent in providing key inputs and recommendations to Members for the development of reports based on supply chain knowledge and commodity specificities;
  • Provide expertise in agricultural commodities supply chains (palm oil, cocoa, and others), sustainable procurement and No-Deforestation topics to other internal team;
  • Be an active, engaging, and innovative team player, representing Asia on the global Sustainability Analyst – Agricultural Commodities team;
  • Collaborate with coalitions and industry peers, representing Earthworm Foundation on working groups as needed (e.g. No-Deforestation approaches, HCV/HCS, recovery plans etc).
