Hours of Work: 40 Hours
This is a full-time position with a working schedule of 5 days per week, depending on organizational needs and mutual agreement. Working hours on designated days are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The specific working days and any adjustments may be agreed upon in consultation with the organization.
Job Descriptions
Program Development
- In collaboration with the CFES member, lead on the strategic planning and development of the CFES, including advising on opportunities, priorities and optimal use of funds
- Proactively identify prospective funders and donors and develop tailored proposals to fund and increase CFES portfolios
- Ensure that funding and donor proposals along with resulting contracts and grant agreements are appropriate to, and comply with, CFES operating standards and implementation conditions within Indonesia
- Proactively develop and nurture relationships with prospective and existing funders and donors, ensuring open and regular communication and hosting donor visits as required
Program Representation and Communication
- Represent CFES, developing its profile and promoting its work to third parties, including diplomatic and government agencies, communities, NGOs, for-profit entities, academic institutions, funders and donors, and media
- Represent CFES at key fora, including consultations, negotiations, meetings, workshops and briefings
- Ensure membership of relevant fora and associations to support and further the work of the CFES
- Ensure project visibility through relevant media.
Operational Management
- Provide strong and motivational line management to CFES staff through objective setting, continuous performance management, annual appraisals, training provision and personal development planning to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the program
- Oversee the implementation of project delivery across the CFES portfolios, ensuring compliance with CFES operating standards, policies and procedures, and contracts and grant agreements
- Support project team members to ensure work plans are in place to meet project aims, objectives and timelines and ensure that projects are implemented in line with work plans and within budget
- Developing and implementing systems, policies and procedures
- Ensuring recording and maintenance of CFES assets
Financial Management
- With the support of the Finance Team, ensure:
- Accurate financial management of the CFES and its projects
- Compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
- Compliance with contracts and grant agreements, including co-financing and procurement requirements
- Timely submission of invoices and internal transfer requests to maintain appropriate cash flow
- Maintenance of financial records to meet auditing requirements
- Working with the finance team, lead on the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting process for the CFES and reporting to the CFES member meetings
Partnership Development
- Proactively identify, develop and nurture current and potential relationships and partnerships with third parties, including national and local government agencies, community organizations, NGOs, for-profit entities and academic institutions, to maximize the effective delivery of CFES projects
