BOS Foundation is seeking individuals with a strong interest in communication and storytelling to join our communication team.

The Communication Staff plays a key role in supporting the development and management of the organization’s digital content, including website materials and storytelling that connects field-based conservation work with public and donor audiences. This role helps ensure that the organization’s messages are communicated clearly, consistently, and responsibly across digital platforms.

In this role, you will be involved in writing and managing website content, developing narratives based on field data, and preparing communication materials relevant for both public and donor engagement. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that all communication outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with BOS Foundation’s values and communication standards.

We are looking for candidates with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and an interest in environmental and conservation issues. The ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage content in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to conservation efforts by translating field realities into communication that is accurate, responsible, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and publish content for website and other digital channels (Indonesian & English)
  • Manage and update content on the organization’s digital platforms, including website
  • Develop individual orangutan and conservation stories based on field data
  • Support donor communication and fundraising content needs
  • Coordinate with program teams and relevant units for content development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (S1) in a relevant field
  • Strong writing skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Interest in environmental or conservation issues
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience with website/CMS is an advantage
  • Comfortable working with consistent content output and structured deadlines
  • Indonesian citizen (WNI)
