WE’RE HIRING: HUMANITARIAN RESILIENCE PROGRAM MANAGER

Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (YPII) is looking for a Humanitarian Resilience Program Manager to join our team in Jakarta.

This is a strategic role for someone who is passionate about humanitarian response, disaster resilience, programme development, partnerships, and influencing—and wants to turn that experience into meaningful impact for children, young people, and communities.

What will you be working on?

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Leading and strengthening humanitarian and emergency response
  • Overseeing resilience programming, including CBDRM, anticipatory action, safe learning environments, and nature-based solutions
  • Developing new programmes and supporting resource mobilization
  • Providing technical guidance and strategic direction across projects
  • Building partnerships with government, NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, and development partners
  • Supporting advocacy and influencing on humanitarian and resilience issues
  • Strengthening learning, knowledge management, and programme quality
  • Supporting YPII’s humanitarian–development nexus

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, international relations, humanitarian/development studies, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in humanitarian/emergency response and project management
  • Minimum 3 years working with government agencies, NGOs, and/or INGOs in humanitarian or emergency response
  • Strong understanding of Disaster Risk Management, resilience, programme management and community empowerment
  • Experience with gender transformative approaches, child rights, GBV, and inclusion
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and people management skills
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Master’s degree, climate change experience, policy advocacy, child/youth programming, and safeguarding experience are a plus.

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Work authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in Indonesia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
