Book Writer: ASRI-Papua Program
Tambrauw, Papua Barat Daya dan Remote
Scope of Work
- Develop the table of contents or outline for ASRI’s Learning Book.
- Design specific writing methodologies for the book, including a list of questions and a detailed consultancy schedule.
- Collect information from interviews with stakeholders, project reports, and other supporting data available at ASRI. Expected stakeholders include representatives from KLHK, Kemenkes, BRIN, BBKSDA Papua Barat, UGM, UNIPA, Stikes Papua, ASRI representatives, and the community.
- Coordinate with the Book Writing Consultant for data and materials collection from the field.
- Draft the manuscript based on the agreed outline with ASRI’s writing team and relevant stakeholders.
- Edit and revise the draft according to input from ASRI’s team and relevant stakeholders.
- Produce and store all raw materials such as interviews, observations, and other field findings for ASRI.
- Layout the book in a final format ready for printing and publication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience for individual consultant writers or 5 years for private sector/NGO.
- Experienced in working on national projects (NGOs, government, etc.). Attach project portfolios and samples of previous writing.
- Provide examples of previous written work.
- Submit a technical proposal and budget.
Output
Final book manuscript in digital format (PDF and Word), ready for printing, encompassing best practices and lessons learned from ASRI’s programs in Papua and plans for expansion to other regions in Indonesia.Location
Districts: Fef, Syujak, Miyah, and Mubrani in Tambrauw Regency, Southwest Papua.
Online and offline engagement with resource persons (for writing and interviews).
