YAYASAN FORTASBI INDONESIA JOB VACANCIES 2024
FORTASBI (Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil Farmers Forum) is a forum initiated by several NGOs and oil palm farmer organizations in Indonesia on 14 August 2014 in Jambi and as a forum to increase the capacity of independent oil palm farmers towards sustainable certification. This idea was built with the hope that there would be a forum that would become a vehicle for discussion for independent farmers in Indonesia and NGOs to jointly promote sustainable palm oil, whether through the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), ISPO (Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil) schemes and even ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
FORTASBI is also expected to be a place of learning for independent farmers to increase the capacity of independent farmers, both those who have received sustainability certificates and those who already have a commitment and are in the process of becoming certified.
COMMUNICATION MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Develop and implement communication strategies;
- Write and edit communication materials, such as press releases, articles, and newsletters;
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content across multiple channels;
- Build and maintain external communication with buyers, donors, stakeholders, and our partners;
- Build and maintain media relations;
- Coordinating events;
- Ensure communication reports are submitted to donors;
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure their effectiveness;
- Cooperate with IT Staff concerning Yayasan FORTASBI Indonesia data.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communication or public relations roles;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms;
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics;
- Knowledge of sustainable palm oil and other environmental issues is an advantage;
- Photography and design skills are a plus.
