District Manager

Position : District Manager

Reports to: Implementation Director

Job Level : Associate Manager

Scope of Work:

  • Manage day-to-day program activities based on program implementation planning and budget
  • Manage program expenditures to be inline with planning & implementation
  • Develop activities designs and implementation plans as well as Terms of Reference (ToR) for activities based on needs and local context.
  • Support development and implementation and monitoring plan based on approved program design
  • Implement and manage changes on program implementation to ensure program goals are achieved and Coordinate program implementation with the wider 1000 Days Fund team as well as field officers
  • Liaise with local government, private sectors, CSOs, academicians, media and other relevant stakeholders to support advocacy.
  • Timely request of goods and services on administration and procurement for program delivery.
  • Leads regular monitoring and evaluation of program activities, outputs, outcomes at the district level and Develop regular reporting to Director, Senior Management team
  • Involve in communication with donor and highly involved in preparing grants proposals
  • Manage and coordinate with implementation team to ensure effective and efficient resources are allocated throughout the lifespan of the programs
  • Managing consistent communication with stakeholders related to achieve program goals
  • Support partners, including implementing partners (if any), local government or other strategic partners to implement quality programming or follow-up action plans in the field.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s KPIs actively and regularly as well as ensuring goals are met based on Organisation’s KPI and KPI requested by donors.
  • Ensure any issues concerning program or partners are reported to and discussed with the directors as needed for solutions and improvement
  • Identifying opportunities for continual improvement of the program
  • Document and reporting challenges, constraints, and solutions in order to keep each program running with minimum to no interference.
  • Coordinate and run events and workshops with FPC
  • Supervise and coach Field Officers in activities scheduling, reporting, and expenditure as well as contribution to the organisation’s KPIs.
