YAYASAN ALAM SEHAT LESTARI JOB VACANCIES 2023

  • Title: Livelihoods Program Manager
  • Reports to: Program Director
  • Location: Sukadana, Kab. Kayong Utara, Kalimantan Barat
  • Timeline: To start as soon as possible

ESSENTIALS OF THIS ROLE

  • Responsible for all activities and objectives of ASRI’s livelihood programs, such as Chainsaw Buyback, Goats for Widows, and Sustainable Farming;
  • Responsible for planning, implementation, supervision, and oversight of the Livelihoods program for the achievement of the goals.
  • Develop a livelihood strategy management plan based on the SUSTAINABILITY livelihood concept.
  • Collaborating business strategies impact the community and ASRI program overall.
  • Collaborate and build partnerships with stakeholders (e.g. other disciplines, business owners, etc) to improve goals.
  • Periodic MONEV of program achievements and progress, especially every 4 months (partners), semester, and annually (organizations);
  • Make and review all TORs and reports on ongoing subject program activities;
  • Support development proposals and grant reports for the ASRI program;
  • Responsible for budget program use and spending absorption.
  • Lead the monthly and annual work planning process, and facilitated the long-term strategic planning process;
  • Facilitate staff for appropriate training related to sustainability livelihood.
  • Implement other tasks directed by the Program Director or Executive Director;

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Have a degree in a relevant field (agriculture, sustainable developments, environmental science, anthropology, and/or sustainable economy), master’s degree preferred;
  • Three years or more relevant work experience in the field of sustainable livelihood, preferably a candidate who has experience in agriculture and sustainable economy/developments;
  • Statistical analysis and data management experience;
  • Track record of developing successful grant and funding proposals;
  • Financial principles and practices in assigned area of responsibility;
  • Budgeting principles and practices;
  • Proven ability to seek out new ideas and ability to implement new initiatives;
  • Ability and experience working in (and/or virtually) with partners in other countries.

DEMONSTRATED SKILL

  • Technical writing;
  • Logical Framework (Logframe) development;
  • Grant management systems and working with a fundraising database;
  • Coordinating activities with other internal departments and/or external organizations;
  • Developing and monitoring budgets;
  • Monitoring and evaluation methods (qualitative and quantitative);
  • Monitoring compliance with applicable proposals, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations;
  • Working with diverse academic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of our staff and partners;
  • Utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering, and reporting activities;
  • Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums.
