Accounting Officer – Jakarta

ROLE PURPOSE

As a member of the Accounting team, Accounting officer shares in the overall responsibility for the direction and coordination of the finance duties and responsibilities.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Contribute to accounting monthly closing and reporting process as follows:

  • Performall bank reconciliation (both FR & Non FR) in Agresso.
  • Single account reconciliation in Agresso.
  • Ensure all soft files (GLACOS & Agresso report) saved in Shared drive.
  • Prepare reconciliation between withholding tax database (PPh 23 & 4.2) and general ledgers and preparing for tax payment process in timely manner
  • Prepare withholding tax slip and submit to the relevant vendors
  • Prepare accruals, particularly for recurring expenses.
  • Input transactions onto General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheet (GLACOS) and ensure all transactions entered in system with correct and complete budget code.
  • Input payment into Banking System
  • Review of the completion of all relevant/adequate documents required prior submission to Finance Department and ensure the accuracy of budget codes and account codes.
  • Input Fundraising expenditures into General Ledger and Cash Offline Spreadsheet (GLACOS) and ensure all transactions entered in Agresso system with correct and complete budget code.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Education Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Management.
  • Work Experience (in years) 3 to 5 years.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and AGRESSO Financial Management System.
  • Good command of English, verbal and written.
  • Experience with financial and grants management.
  • Ability to solve problems, show initiative and work independently.
  • Respond to requests, queries in timely and customer oriented manner.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge on Indonesia taxation.
  • Attention to detail, particularly with regards to expense transactions and financial reporting.
