Cikananga Foundation Job Vacancy: Education Officer, Sukabumi – West Java

CIKANANGA FOUNDATION JOB VACANCIES 2024

Yayasan Cikananga Konservasi Terpadu (YCKT) is a non-governmental organisation that aims to rescue, protect and reintroduce Endangered Indonesian species. Created in 2001, YCKT is divided into three parts: Cikananga Wildlife Rescue Centre (PPSC), Cikananga Conservation Breeding Centre (CCBC) and Cikananga Regenerative Sustainability Program (CRSP).

PPSC receives and takes care of animals confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade and illegal keeping whilst CCBC focuses on Endangered and Critically Endangered Javan songbird and pig species, protecting them from extinction through ex-situ conservation breeding. CRSP, our newest programme, aims to be a regional leader in regenerative agriculture, focusing on organic food production, land management, soil health, and composting, aiding local farmers in the transition from agro-industrial to sustainable practices.

YCKT approaches in-situ conservation in a holistic way, developing programmes for species from PPSC and CCBC and involving local community members in alternative agricultural techniques through the CRSP. The following job vacancy is for the role of the YCKT Education officer and outlines job description, responsibilities, requirements and conditions of the role.
